Deliveries
There are two ways we make deliveries of our products: if delivery of the board takes place within a 100km radius of our facilities, we make the delivery personally to the customer at no cost. On the other hand, if the delivery is to a location that does not include the travel distance calculated by us, our products will be delivered via carrier and an estimated additional cost upon request. Note that the value of shipping will vary depending on the cubic content attributed to packaging as well as the delivery destination. The prices for delivery abroad are analyzed depending on the country of delivery. In some cases, the transport amount can be high, despite the reduced volume and weight of the board. However, all transport and delivery values are mentioned in the order e-mail. Lava Surf Culture® delivers all over the world using the services of CTT Express or other entity that is chosen by the client/user.
Time of production
The estimated time of production of a Lava Surf Culture® surfboard may vary between 3/6 weeks depending on the finishing to be made, and the volume of our production. For billing and shipping we kindly ask you to enter billing and shipping address in the comments box during the checkout process on PayPal website (www.paypal.com). In case of choosing other ways of payment, the client/user should send us an email to info@lavasurfculture.com to clarify the shipping address.
Shipping and collecting orders in Portugal
Orders which destination is Portugal mainland and islands will be sent by the Portuguese national mail (CTT). Track your order on the CTT site (www.ctt.pt) using the tracking number provided. You will be asked to pick up your order on the CTT local post office. In this case a signature upon delivery of the order will be required.
Shipping and collecting international orders
International orders will be shipped with priority CTT via airmail. Track your order in www.ctt.pt using the order number provided. As the post office require your signature to deliver the goods, you have to be present at the delivery address specified on delivery.
Uncollected items
The shipping costs will not be reimbursed for unpaid items. Returning items not collected may be subject to additional taxes, costs or charges levied by customs or other parts, none of which will be returned by Lava Surf Culture®.
Extra duties and taxes
Lava Surf Culture® has no responsibility over additional import charges or fees once the order is delivered to the destination country. In the case that the order is delayed at customs, taxes or any additional costs necessary to deliver the order must be paid by the customer. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
