Portuguese surfing literature has a long way to go in terms of quantity and quality of its projects, but one of its greatest products is “Portugal Surf Guide”.
Written by António Pedro de Sá Leal and Francisco Cipriano, it presents itself as the first bilingual guide of the best places to surf in Portugal. Suitable for all surfers, from the most experienced to the initiated, this guide aims to fill an important gap in the structuring of the offer wave in Portugal and mostly, internationally.
When all is said and done, this amazing book offers descriptions of almost 200 national beaches, divided by geographical áreas: Porto and Northern Territories, Center, Lisbon, Alentejo, Algarve, Madeira and Açores. The waves deserve special treatment and get classifications that range from 1 to 5.
Additionaly, Portugal Surf Guide has an official app (which is free!) with useful complementary information and precious discounts and offers that are simply too good to miss.
